Dragon TIS Spotter application predicts Translation Initiation Sites (TISs) in Arabidopsis genomic sequences provided in fasta format.
The tool provides a list of locations in the supplied sequences that are positively predicted as TIS sites.
The program analyzes the content of sliding windows of 300 nucleotides of the supplied DNA sequence, assuming that the TIS is located at 150-152 position of the window counted from the 5' end.
Sequences shorter than 300 nucleotides will not be processed.
