Function Catalytic component of the SRCAP complex which mediates the ATP-dependent exchange of histone H2AZ/H2B dimers for nucleosomal H2A/H2B, leading to transcriptional regulation of selected genes by chromatin remodeling. Acts as a coactivator for CREB-mediated transcription, steroid receptor-mediated transcription, and Notch-mediated transcription. [PubMed: 10347196, 11522779, 14500758, 16024792, 16634648, 17617668]

Gene transcriptionally regulated by Netpath Pathway TGF-beta Receptor Signaling Pathway
Netpath Description The TGF beta receptors TGFBR1 and TGFBR2 belong to a subfamily of membrane-bound serine/threonine kinases which are designated as Type I or II based on their structural and functional properties. The receptor is composed of pairs of type I or II arranged in a heterotetrameric complex. Its ligand, TGF beta, has 3 members - TGFB1, TGFB2 and TGFB3, which can homodimerize or heterodimerize before binding to the receptors. Ligand binding activates the MAPK/SMAD signaling modules.
